Creating cards for family & friends at Don Bosco…
On Tuesday 9th December the weekly children’s activities slot at Red Cross Foyer Don Bosco in Limpertsberg became a hive of industry as the children – and some interested teenagers and adults! – turned their hand to Christmas card making.
A great variety of stickers, glitter and other festive-themed craft materials were used to produce a fantastic range of cards wishing the recipients a happy Christmas in many languages.
Jeanne, the educatrice, and other colleagues dropped by from time to time, and commented on the air of concentration as the children worked.
The end result was cards for family, friends and staff at Don Bosco, plus a magnificent garland to decorate the entrance hall. It was such fun to be part of, and now the excitement mounts as the residents look forward to the party on December 17th!
