Ensuring a Successful ‘Securite et Sante’
On Saturday 28th June Tricentenaire, an organisation that helps improve the lives of disabled people in Luxembourg, together with Servior and Steftung Hellef Doheem held their “journee de securite et sante” – a health and safety day.
It was a fun festival-style event about how to eat healthily, exercise more, and be more secure when driving. There were lots of demonstrations from organisations across Luxembourg, for all the family to enjoy.
The police and the fire brigade performed various presentations and there were lots of activities for children, which our team of volunteers helped with. We also ensured that the parking logistics on the day went smoothly and that the organisers had support in cleaning up after the event had finished.
We would like to thank everyone who volunteered with us (or were willing to serve with us!), for making a real difference to the day and for braving the wet weather! Serve the City have received thanks from the organisers to all of those who took part.
