Happy Women’s Day!

March 8th is the perfect time to celebrate female ingenuity. The vital contribution of women to our societies is sometimes overlooked. We have all seen how women were at the front line during the recent period with the epidemic, whether in the health and social care sector or even in the shops selling essential products. But crisis or no crisis, they are the everyday heroes who give life its special flavour. They are the ones who give life, help people grow, and pay real attention to the most fragile in our society. They are essential but their humility is matched only by their generosity.

At Serve The City Luxembourg, 75% of people committed to transforming our cities and neighbourhoods through our social impact and environmental projects are women. Board members, team leaders, volunteers, they are the spearheads of the #ServingRevolution that we are calling for. A revolution in their image that is both silent and fruitful.
