Serve the City Luxembourg Spreads Holiday Cheer
The festive season is a time for joy, giving, and kindness. At Serve the City Luxembourg, we believe that everyone deserves to experience the warmth and love of the holiday season, regardless of their circumstances. That’s why our community of volunteers has been extremely active over the past few weeks, in shelters, schools and, of course, on the streets.
A Challenging Time for the Homeless Community
As the temperatures drop, the sense of exclusion and loneliness can be overwhelming for the homeless community. However, thanks to the tireless efforts of our team leaders and volunteers, we were able to bring some warmth and comfort to those on the streets.
Street Teams and Food Distribution
Throughout the holiday season, our Street Teams and Food Distribution initiatives continued uninterrupted, spreading joy and kindness to many. Our dedicated team leaders rallied their teams to distribute hundreds of meals, hot drinks and essential goods to those in need.
Spreading Holiday Cheer
To add a touch of festive spirit, our volunteers distributed fruits, chocolates, and even Santa hats to those they met. The bags and cards were lovingly decorated by kids from CPE Children’s Centre, adding a personal and heartfelt touch to our outreach efforts.
As we reflect on the holiday season, we want to express our deepest gratitude to our team leaders and volunteers who made this possible. Your selflessness, kindness, and generosity inspire us to continue serving our community with compassion and dedication.
