Sign up for a Garden Clean Up
On Saturday February 8 we are organising a garden clean up at the Foyer Eich, operated by The Red Cross. In November, STC was there with a group of young people to rake leaves. We would like to complete this job before spring arrives and have requested a dry sunny day (fingers crossed!).
This project not only tidies up the garden, but it offers the residents of the Foyer – asylum seekers – the opportunity to get involved and take pride in where they live. We’re looking for 10 volunteers to work together with them on this project.
You don’t need a green thumb for this project or any specific language skills; just be prepared to work hard and please bring along a rake and gloves.
When: Saturday, 8th February, 13:00-16:00
