November Volunteering Projects with Fondation Autisme
‘Fondation Autisme Luxembourg’ (FAL) is a charity with a multidisciplinary team of professionals who offer support, diagnosis and education to people with Autism and their families. They provide residential accommodation to those with acute conditions, day-care, summer activities, holiday camps and leisure trips.
They are so busy they often need volunteers to become an ‘accompanying person’ to help autistic people enjoy the very best of Luxembourg life. This involves holding hands, talking to people, guiding people, helping them to participate in a chosen activity, sometimes feeding them, ensuring they stay safe and feel cared for and ultimately providing them with company.
It is a hugely rewarding opportunity and all volunteers working for FAL have come back with happy hearts, opened minds and cherished memories of really making a difference to those in need. There are a great variety of days out to choose from so you can opt for something that interests you, or that you feel most comfortable with.

**The only criteria for all events is that you must be minimum age of 16, and speak German or French or Luxembourgish.
