Running for a Purpose: How Utmost Powered Change Through the ING Night Marathon
For the ING Night Marathon, Utmost laced up their running shoes and ran for Serve The City! Rather than just running for themselves they chose to run for us, which raised funds to support our work with refugees and vulnerable communities in Luxembourg. Them running for us shined a spotlight and brought awareness to our mission.
One of the outcomes of their support was the launch of our Social Running Club. This initiative gives refugees the chance to participate in regular running activities and community jogging events, alongside locals.
Since the Social running Club has been up and running, some participants have completed their first community run, City Jogging!
This is a reminder that running can be more than just a sport, it can also be a statement. Running for a purpose turns an individual effort into a collective impact! Thanks to Utmost, what started as a marathon has sparked movement toward inclusion!
We’re deeply grateful to the entire Utmost team for choosing to support Serve the City, and to everyone who cheered them on!
