STC Partners with AEHDL
Serve The City is proud to announce a significant partnership with the Luxembourg Association for Aid to Disabled and Disadvantaged Children (AEHDL).
Securing substantial funding for our ‘Kids Activities for All’ project. This collaboration reinforces our shared commitment to actively promoting inclusion, well-being, and active citizenship among the most vulnerable young people in Luxembourg.
Friday, July 11, the partnership agreements were officially signed in Differdange. We were honored to join 11 other vital organisations—including De Leederwon, Fondation Maison de la Porte Ouverte, and Tricentenaire—in receiving the AEHDL’s focused support, which is dedicated to ensuring the success of specific, high-impact projects for youth.
Focusing on Focused Impact
For nearly 50 years, AEHDL has been a pillar of support for Luxembourg’s social landscape. Since 2022, they have strategically concentrated their resources to provide greater financial support to selected projects. This year, Serve The City is among the twelve initiatives chosen for their potential to create a deep and positive difference.
This recognition by AEHDL’s leadership, represented by President Nora Hermann and Secretary-General Martine Biever-Rollinger, is a powerful endorsement of the community-focused work driven by our 1,800 dedicated volunteers.
About the ‘Kids Activities for All’ Project
Founded in 2013, Serve The City has already executed over 1,000 projects centered on solidarity. Our newly funded initiative is designed to tackle a critical need for structured, positive, and safe activities for children in foster care.
The ‘Kids Activities for All’ project aims to implement 100 cultural, sporting, and artistic activities throughout the year. These vital activities will take place in the afternoons, evenings, weekends, and during school holidays, specifically benefiting children who are refugees, in need, victims of abuse, or living with disabilities across three new homes in Luxembourg City and the surrounding areas.

What the Activities Include: From engaging cultural outings and cinema trips to vital outdoor sports and relaxation sessions, the program is built to foster a sense of normalcy, belonging, and joy.
“This support from AEHDL allows us to dramatically scale our reach and provide these deserving children with consistent opportunities for personal development, fun, and inclusion. This is more than just an activity; it’s a profound step towards active inclusion and healing for children facing complex challenges.” Nicolas Duprey, Serve The City Director
We extend our deepest gratitude to AEHDL for their trust and belief in our mission. Together, we are setting a new standard for youth support in Luxembourg.
