A guitar for Santa! ??

During one of our regular Street Team we ran into Ed our dear friend and street musician from Canada. You probably already had a chance to listen to him singing and playing in town. But when we saw him this time he was really desperate as his guitar was broken and his instrument was his only source of income. After sharing a hot coffee and handing him one of our lunch pack we thought about finding a solution to his problem with the rest of our community.

This is how, once home, we launched a call through our social networks to urgently find a new guitar for him. We were just amazed on how quickly the whole community mobilized. We received dozens of messages of STC volunteers but also from people we did not know just willing to help. Thanks to this incredible mobilization we were able to find and select the right guitar in less than 24 hours. He was moved into tears as he said he never owned such a good guitar and, thanks to the help of our experts Sarah and Ziva, perfectly match his skills and voice timbre.

This is another perfect example how online presence and on site activities together can have a real impact in our society!
